The pendant is from the ‘Witches’ Familiar’ range. The concept of magical animals can be found in many cultures, from as far back as ancient Rome and Greece, to Native Americans, through to witchcraft.
The festival of Lammas is celebrated at the beginning of August and in this pendant, a hare leaps across the front of a decorative heart. The piece is made from English pewter and the heart and the chain have been given the appearance of copper. The pendant measures 3.5cm x 4.2cm and the chain is 20 inches long.
It is packaged with a black drawstring pouch and comes with an illustrated leaflet. This shows all 12 pieces of jewellery from this range. There is also an explanation about ‘Witches’ Familiars’.

The Lammastide Pendant is one of the ‘Witches’ Familiar’ collection.
It is made from English pewter and measures 3.5cm x 4.2cm. The hare pendant is partly coloured in a copper plating as is the 20 inch chain which is included. There is a bail at the top of the heart and this is where the chain is threaded through. The chain is fastened with a lobster claw clasp.
The piece of jewellery comes in a black drawstring pouch along with an illustrated leaflet.
